“Hip-hop s a voice for voiceless poor people,” said Russell Simmons and following his trail is the Young DV, establishing a platform to speak on the behalf of those who cannot be heard in the community.

With new waves of southern, funky country rap tunes, Young DV experiments with different branches of hip hop, amalgamating them into one single masterpiece. With fulfilling music, Young DV gives the audience what they crave for- a sense of purpose, a voice of a spokesperson.

It is no new news that Tupac was the very pioneer of the hip hop culture. Following in his league, after listening and studying many classics, DV discovered his undying love for the industry and dedicated his purpose in the divinity behind the beats and strums.

Born, raised and currently a resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Young DV is as original as one can get despite being influenced and inspired by the hip hop greats such as Tupac, Master P,  UGK, Chamillionaire, Big K.R.I.T, Snoop Dogg, 8ball & MJG, OutKast, Nate Dogg, Nelly, and Nipsey Hussle.

Introducing his authentic flavor in the music, Young DV has shared stages with artists as successful as Rae Sremmurd, Kevin Gates, and Post Malone at the legendary Cain’s Ballroom. It is safe to say, if he didn’t steal the thunder, he definitely added to the thunder’s roars during his performance.

But DV’s drive into the depths of success accelerated by sharing stages with artists as well-known as Scarface, Dej Loaf, Lil Flip, Caskey, OG Maco, Tum Tum, Cuz Lightyear, Pell, and Dorrough Music.

With a variety in his beats, Young DV can move from sending surges of electricity through the crowds’ veins with electrocuting performances or he can have them swaying their hips to his mellow music. That’s just how he works.

After his latest single release, ‘Never Did B4,’ DV is busy in endeavors of producing an iconic album for his fans.
